Okay, so in Science class yesterday we were talking about sleep cycles and melatonin and my science teacher said, “if you’re trying to sleep, avoid one colour. Blue. Your melatonin levels decrease when looking at the colour blue because it’s the colour of the sky.” GUYS, I KNOW WHY NONE OF US SLEEP. TUMBLR IS BLUE.

I got this tattoo on July 31st this year, at Brother E’s in Downers Grove, IL. I have wanted a Harry Potter tattoo for years, but I wanted something that was simultaneously unique and easily recognizable. So then eventually I came up with this. To me, this tattoo represents the entire journey that is Harry Potter. The lightning scar for the beginning, the book stars for all of the pages in the middle, and the Hallows symbol as a whole for the very end. It came out exactly as I hoped it would.
